Every year, starting the third week of October in Carthage, Missouri, nearly 60,000 locals and visitors across the Four States arrive to attend the annual Maple Leaf Festival™. The week-long outdoor activities amongst this beloved town's maple trees include:

  • Festival Rodeo
  • Bike Tour Around Kellogg Lake
  • Chili Cookoff
  • 5K Run Across Fair Acres Family YMCA
  • Free Concert on the Town Square

The BIG show stopper is The Maple Leaf Parade on closing day, with floats created and represented by locally-owned small businesses, area vendors, and festival sponsors. Floats at this year's 57th Celebration were tasked with creating themed floats that presented "There's no place like home."

But this parade is more than just entertainment; it's a testament to hometown pride. The people of Carthage come together each year to showcase their talents, creativity, and love for Carthage. It's a chance for neighbors to reconnect, families to make lasting memories, and visitors to feel like they've stumbled upon something exceptional.
